We run high-level networking events to help build partnerships between business, government and public bodies to accelerate sustainable development and promote inward investment. We also assist with the planning, funding and implementation of external events run by Commonwealth associations and member Governments.

From private dinners at the Ritz Hotel to conferences at Marlborough House, our networking events are designed to establish and build partnerships to accelerate sustainable development and inward investment in the Commonwealth. Over the last 10 years, we have provided platforms for business, government and public bodies to share knowledge, technologies and expertise, and identify innovative solutions to the challenges faced by today’s Commonwealth.

Event Examples Include…

Africa Infrastructure Investment Forum

The Africa Infrastructure Investment Networking Forum was organised by Henley Media Group at the request of the Commonwealth Business Council (now the CWEIC) – as infrastructure was taking centre stage in Africa’s development agenda.

The event, held in March 2013 at Marlborough House in London, was a series of panel discussions followed by a networking reception. It brought together 150 senior-level individuals from the three key stakeholder groups that are integral for solving Africa’s infrastructure crisis: government, business and the financial community.

The lively debate and networking opportunities were incredibly well received by the attendees: “The event was of a very high standard with an excellent and knowledgeable as well as representative panel” (Oladipo Oye-Somefun, Assistant Director, Moore Stephens LLP). “Congratulations on a very successful event chaired by you and organised by your excellent team” (Chris Griffiths, Chairman, SML Group).

Dinner at the Ritz

On the eve of the Commonwealth Day Observance 2015 we hosted a private dinner with The Royal Commonwealth Society at The Ritz London.

Commonwealth dignitaries joined us in the awe-inspiring William Kent Room – the signature private dining room of The Ritz London – for an intimate evening aimed at building partnerships and developing long-lasting networks. The event also launched the Ministers Reference Book: Commonwealth 2015.

We are also delighted to assist Commonwealth associations and governments with the planning, funding and running of their own events. This includes: sourcing sponsored goods and services such as delegate bags to I.T. Lounges for the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Ministerial Meetings; providing printed materials for the Commonwealth Day Observance at Westminster Abbey; and hosting gala dinners alongside the biennial Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings, including at the Portomaso Business Tower in Malta in 2015, with the President of Malta Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca among the attendees.
